A valued client on the 4URSPACE Global Vendor Marketplace, Media Services Worldwide is spotlighting its vendor profile and portfolio of recent projects to potential partners around the world as it celebrates this important milestone.
To reflect on 40 years of innovation, resilience, and growth, we spoke with Garry Darvin, President of Media Services Worldwide, and Linda Brisco, the company’s Chief Operating Officer.
In the conversation below, they discuss how the company has evolved through waves of technological change, the importance of trust and operational discipline in sustaining long-term partnerships, and how Media Services Worldwide is preparing for the next generation of intelligent, connected media environments.
Congratulations to everyone at the firm!

What do MSW’s four decades represent?
Garry Darvin: For me, it represents evolution. MSW has moved through multiple waves of technological change, from analog and film to fully digital, networked, and cloud-based systems. Every decade pushed us to learn, adapt, and rethink how we serve our clients. We’ve stayed in business because we never assume that what we knew yesterday will carry us into tomorrow.
Linda Brisco: Four decades speak to resilience, reinvention, and the strength of our relationships. Technology has changed dramatically since we first opened our doors, but our mission hasn’t; Helping clients communicate through reliable, impactful media systems. What means the most to me is that many of our clients and partners have stayed with us for years, even decades. That kind of loyalty says a lot about trust and the value we work to deliver every day.

How has the company stayed in business so long?
Garry Darvin: It comes down to relationships and credibility. We’ve always focused on doing what we say we’ll do, and standing behind our work. Technology changes constantly, but integrity and reliable service don’t. Clients remember who shows up, especially when something needs to work.
Linda Brisco: A big part of it is operational discipline. Behind the scenes, we’re meticulous about project execution, ongoing support, and long-term client success. We’re not chasing quick, one-off jobs. We’re building partnerships that last.

How has the company grown over the four decades?
Garry Darvin: MSW started by focusing on core media and presentation systems, and over time expanded into digital signage networks, experiential and branded environments, broadcast setups, cinema technology, and large-scale LED installations. Most of that growth happened simply by listening to our clients and responding to what they needed next.
Linda Brisco: We also grew by expanding our services. It’s no longer just about installing technology, it’s about helping organizations plan for it, manage it, and operate it effectively. Today we support clients with strategy, design, deployment, monitoring, and long-term system care.

How does MSW stay ahead of the curve for its clients?
Garry Darvin: Curiosity is a big driver. We’re always exploring new technologies, testing products, and collaborating with manufacturers. But staying ahead isn’t just about adopting the latest tools. It’s about turning innovation into something practical and meaningful for our clients.
Linda Brisco: We also focus on how people use technology. A system can be cutting-edge, but if it’s overly complicated or unreliable, it won’t succeed. Staying ahead means delivering solutions that are both advanced and easy to use.

What does the future hold for MSW?
Garry Darvin: The next chapter for MSW is about intelligent media environments. Screens are everywhere, but what matters now is how they connect to data, content, and real-time communication. Our focus is helping organizations turn technology into something meaningful, measurable, and engaging. We stay ahead of the technology so our clients don’t have to.
Linda Brisco: We’re also continuing to grow our capabilities around large-scale digital deployments, LED, and networked media platforms. Clients want a partner who can guide them through the full lifecycle. We want to be the company clients call not just when they need equipment installed, but when they’re planning what comes next.
